Arrive Bhutan and drive to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan. The drive will take about one hour. We will refresh ourself for short nature hike and so that you will have better sleep and connect with nature. Dinner at one of the authentic popular local restaurant in Thimphu.
Have normal breakfast and visit Tallest sitting Buddha, after that visit Kaja thom (vegetable market for shopping and understanding the local food culture and ingredients). Visit Falk heritage museum for lunch and sight-seen. Evening simply Bhutan kitchen for dinner and culture show.
After breakfast we drive to Begana and visit local homes and learn how to cook Momos / dumpling, of different type and shapes. At the same time learn homemade cookies.
After lunch short hike to Cheri and visit Tango buddhist university and see how they cook for hundreds of monks and participates in cooking, offer and have dinner with monks.
Drive to Punakha have breakfast in Dochula with authentic Bhutanese breakfast. After that drive down to Lumpelri and have tea and ceremonial snacks before lunch, continue drive down to lower valley and visit homestay for lunch, our lunch is prepared different dishes for us.
After lunch drive down to Lobesa and visit another home to observed and learn to prepare or make roasted rice (zaws)
Dinner at Hotel again we will have different verities of meals.
After breakfast visit Punakha Dzong and hike to Home stay for authentic lunch and learn to cook few more dishes and enjoy the hot stone bath and evening dinner. Learn to make butter cheese, bhutanese pizza, and mazkhu puff rice.
Overnight at home stay morning prepare bhutanese breakfast with dried yak or beef with ezay and butter tea etc.
Again relax and explore in the village and again come back for another delicious lunch and after lunch, drive to Nunnery for evening prayer and dinner with nuns. Overnight in the hotel.
After break fast we drive to Bumthang and via Trongsa. Lunch stoped at Sayphu and learn to cook popular bhutanese lunch and enjoy it. On arrival in Bumthang scroll in Chamkhar town and learn to cook Authentic Bumthap’s meals for dinner.
After buckwheat pancake breakfast visit some famous monastery and temples and drive to Tang valley. Check in Tang Ugyen Choling Heritage guest house and meet the Author Kuenzang Choden. She has written many books including culture and tradition of food in Bhutan.
Rest day in the morning and afternoon learn to cook few more regional dishes and visit palace Museum, Temple and the village.
Drive back To Phobjikha and stop in Trongsa for lunch and visit Tadzong Museum dedicated to Monarchy of Bhutan. Dinner at Waterfall cafe, Trongsa.
Visit Gangtey monastery and homestay and hike in Phobjikha valley.
Drive back to Paro and stoped in Yuesuna village for meals and chili production including red chili powders and also how to make chili paste etc.
Evening Jomja and Lomba meals.
Hike to Tiger’s nest Monastery and evening souvenir shopping and farewell dinner.
Departure to Nepal, Bangkok and India
