ITINERARY – 10DAYS

April / May

Day 1 PARO

Arrive Paro and depending on flight timing, we can either drive to Thimphu or visit Paro Dzong after arrival.

Day 2 THIMPHU

Morning visit Tallest buddha and Thimphu main traffic, this will be an opportunity now because it may not be there in the future. Dechen Phodrang for live painting and breakfast. Afternoon Tashi Chhodzong, and evening relax.

Day 3 THIMPHU

Drive to Dodayna and do hike to Tango Monastery, do live painting on Tango nye the holly cave and the rock cliff of Tandi (the deity of horse headed sadhana). After lunch live painting of Cheri monastery foreground of Wangchhu river and visit Tango Tashithang university and attend evening prayer.

Day 4 PUNAKHA

Drive to Talo and witness Festival and take photographs of the mask dance and folk dances along with colorful locals and many more.

Day 5 PUNAKHA

Morning drive to Punakha Dzong and do live painting of Punakha Dzong from different angles. Visit the Yebesa village and Jawana homestay for painting and culture experience.

Day 6 PUNAKHA

Stay at Dumra farm resort for live painting of Punakha Dzong with two rivers; male and female. Afternoon drive to Lumukha village for live painting and homestay experience with the hot stone bath.

Day 7 WANGDUE

Drive to Wangdue Phodrang or hike down to Mendagang to longest suspension bridge in Punakha then to Wangdue Phodrang for overnight stay

Day 8 WANGDUE / PHOBJIKHA

Do morning live painting of Ngashigaykha village with the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and move to Phobjikha valley. On the way we stop at Nobding for lunch and painting.

Day 9 PHOBJIKHA

At Phobjikha valley visit Gangtey Mopnasty and do nature hike as well as live painting of Gangtey monastery, village and the valley.

Day 10 PARO

Drive back to Paro and do Paro Dzong with traditional bridge.

Day 11 PARO / TIGER'S NEST

Hike to Tiger’s nest and live painting of Tiger’s nest monastery.

Day 12 DEPARTURE

Departure to Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Katmandu, Singapore
