ITINERARY – 16DAYS

July / August

Day 1 PARO

Arrive Paro and visit Paro Dzong for welcome blessing. Visit Drakarpo the temple of 1000 Dakines for blessing. Evening drive to Thimphu.

Day 2 THIMPHU

Morning visit Tallest Buddha and drive to Dodayna and hike to Chair Meditation center, meditate in the holly temple in Chari. Picnic lunch by the river. Evening visit Tango university for buddhist teaching and conversation. Evening prayer and have dinner with monks.

Day 3 PUNAKHA

Drive to Punakha via Simtokha Dzong and Dochula for prayer and blessing. Lampelri Botanical garden foe lunch, relax and Yoga. Drive down to  Punakha hike in the village. Evening prayer at the nunnery

Day 4 PUNAKHA

Drive to Talo and visit Talo monastery for blessing and meditation. Follow by Ngalandra monastery for another blessing and interaction with monks for more clarification and stunning view, because most of the monastery are built on the hill top.

Day 5 GASA

Drive to Goen-tshephu for pilgrimage and meditation, it is said that second Buddha have mediated here and got power of longevity. Afternoon drive to Gasa.

Day 6 GASA

Gasa hot spring and meditation hike to Gasa Dzong and and authentic village stay and many more.

Day 7 WANGDUE

Drive to Wangdue and stay in Kitchu resort and visit Dangdi Phodrang Dzong.

Day 8 WANGDUE

Drive to Byelandra nye for more blessing and get to know the are and yourself and come back to Kitchu Resort.

Day 9 WANGDUE

Drive to Khotala and visit Khotakha Rinchen ling monastery and holly temple around, evening come back to Kitchu Resort.

Day 10 BUMTHANG

Drive to Bumthang via Trongsa Dzong and visit Trongsa Dzong lunch at Waterfall cafe. Evening prayer at Jambay Lhakhang which is built in 7th center and Buddhas have meditated here for centuries.

Day 11 BUMTHANG

Visit Kurjay Lhakhang, Kuenchosum, Tamshing and many more for blessing and meditation yoga etc. Stay in Swiss guest house for delicious meals.

Day 12 BUMTHANG

Drive to Tang Ugyen Choling via Burning lake and Tang rinmochen – the tiger’s stripe cliff temple and Ugyen Choling one of the great place of Longchen teaching.

Day 13 PHOBJIKHA

Drive back to Phobjikha visit Gangtey Monastery and hike in the Phobjikha valley.

Day 14 PARO

Drive back to Paro visit Dzongdrakha which is one of the secret and oldest temple in Paro area.

Day 15 PARO

In the morning visit Kitchu Lhakhang which is another one of the oldest temple built in Bhutan (7th century). After that hike to Tiger’s nest monastery for more blessing and meditation. Evening farewell dinner.

Day 16 DEPARTURE

Departure to Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Katmandu, Singapore
