September is also the month of the largest Bhutanese festivals, including Wangdue, Thimphu, and Haa Valley. These festivals offer a unique spiritual experience for the Bhutanese people and a one-of-a-kind opportunity for photographers to capture stunning moments. To make your experience even more unforgettable, we will arrange for you to witness the sunrise at Dochula Pass and the sunset at the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, with stunning views of the Himalayan Mountains of Bhutan, from the Highest motor road pass chelila. ITINERARY – 12DAYS
September/ October
Arrive Paro and drive to Haa via Chelila pass. 3988m, afternoon short Hike around the ring road of Haa Town, dinner at hotel.
After breakfast drive and visit Haa annual festival, which held once a year at one of the oldest temple in Bhutan and afternoon hike around rural village and visit Temple in the hill top. Authentic lunch buckwheat dumplings, called Hoentay.
After breakfast drive to Thimphu. its scenic drive and we can stop on the way to capture different photographs people and authentic Bhutanese houses etc. after check in hotel we will evening tea and prayer at Dechen Phodrang central monastic School.
Visit Tallest buddha and hike to Dodraydrak Buddhist Institutes in the mountain. Evening dinner with take a short hike to Wangditse loop hike.
Morning visit tallest Buddha, and archery field, Kaja thom (vegetable market) afternoon visit Dechen Phodrang monastic school for photography and tea offering to littles monks and attend evening prayers.
Morning drive to Punakha via Dochula pass for morning coffee and photography, follow by breakfast with Himalayan mountain views. Continue to Lobesa and hike to Chimi lhakahang through rice field. Evening photoshoot at Punakha Dzong.
After breakfast visit Wolakha Nunnery and Punalkha Dzong for photography and culture experience. Picnic lunch by the river and afternoon take a photographs of farmer harvesting rice and hike to stunning Khamsum Yuelay Chorten for the evening photographs.
After breakfast drive to Longest suspension bridge and then to Samdingkha, area for better photography of village and rice filed. Afternoon drive to Wangdue and visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and evening photography.
After breakfast drive to Phobjikha valley via Sha Ngawang and Nodding and afternoon do nature hike in Phobjikha valley and visit Gangtey monastery and village.
After breakfast drive back to Paro, on arrival at Paro visit Paro Dzong and do evening photographs of Paro Dzong with the bridge.
Morning take photographs of Dzong drakha monastery on the cliff and then hike to Tiger’s nest Monastery.
Departure to Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Katmandu, Singapore
